Job Summary This position within the Department of Surgery, Division of Research, will be responsible for supporting academic research through data collection, management, and analysis, and creating visualizations and reports for decision-making. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in clinical research activities across a broad spectrum, including data warehouse requests, data processing and analysis, and abstract manuscript writing.

Qualifications
Required Education: HS (High School)
Required Related Experience: 4 years
Preferred Education/Experience: Not specified
Skills: Interest in health outcomes and data analysis for biomedical research; familiarity with R, SAS, SPSS and statistical methods; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team; prior experience in clinical research and manuscript writing is preferred.
No supervisory responsibilities.
License/Registration/Certification: None required.

Salary Range: $15.83–$25.30 per hour
Position Type: Staff (Full‑time)
Work Location: Lexington, KY
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Physical Requirements: Lifting, pushing or pulling less than 25 lb; long periods of sitting/standing, repetitive motion.
