Maintenance Technician – Sheetrock, Painting & General Repairs
Pay: $20–$25 per hour (based on experience and results)
Role Overview We are hiring a Maintenance Technician who is skilled in
sheetrock repair, painting, and general building maintenance . This role requires someone who can walk into a unit, identify the issue, and
fix it correctly and efficiently
with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Repair
sheetrock/drywall : holes, cracks, water-damage, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing.
Perform
high-quality painting : touch-ups, full repaints, color matching, and surface preparation.
Fix common apartment issues: door adjustments, hinges, locks, caulking, trim, minor carpentry.
Replace or repair
basic electrical components
such as outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day maintenance requests across multiple properties.
Assist with unit turnovers to bring apartments to move-in or guest-ready condition.
Maintain a clean work area and protect surrounding surfaces while working.
Communicate needs for materials and report completed work through the maintenance system.
Requirements
Proven experience in
sheetrock/drywall repair and painting
(required).
Ability to
fix general maintenance issues
without constant supervision.
Basic electrical experience (safe replacement of outlets, switches, fixtures).
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to deliver clean, professional work.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work with ladders and tools.
Compensation
$20–$25/hr
depending on experience and quality of work.
