Pay Range:
$85,280.00 – $119,392.00 per year (anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey)
Pay Transparency:
Compensation will depend on education, skills, and professional experience.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an active NJ RN license
Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
Preferred Qualifications
Baccalaureate degree in nursing or relevant field of study
Prior experience with PI and data collection/analysis in Excel
Clinical experience in a behavioral health setting
Certifications and Licenses Required
Active NJ RN license
Scheduling Requirements
Shift working, full time
Essential Functions
Performs chart audits, workflow analysis and other activities to measure and monitor clinical quality
Assesses, recommends, implements and monitors appropriate measures to track performance and identify areas of opportunity to facilitate improvement teams and provide education to staff based on identified needs
Assists medical staff through the Peer Review process and actively supports National Patient Safety Goals and High Reliability initiatives within the organization
Assists with monitoring accreditation and regulatory standards and participates in hospital surveys
Accurately prepares department peer review case study reports and enters the data in the Electronic Incident Reporting system
Clearly and succinctly articulates with Medical Staff, team members and peers as necessary
Completes data collection daily to ensure up-to-date data collection and timely intervention
Participates in the RCA process including assisting with interviews and creating a process flow map
Enters infection control data for tracking and trending
Maintains infection control dashboards
Reviews charts for compliance with pre-established criteria developed by Medical Staff departments and committees, or required by external organization as directed
Ensures that information needed for Performance Improvement Council and Patient Safety Committee is completed timely
Performs focus studies as required by Medical Staff, Performance Improvement Teams and external organizations
Performs all other duties as assigned
