The Co Team Leader is required to provide leadership for the successful operation of the entire sales floor and receiving area. The CTL creates and leads a sales team that is passionate about selling merchandise and ensuring a good associate and customer experience. Responsibilities include all aspects of merchandising, associate development, customer service, and financial oversight.

Primary Responsibilities

Assist the Store Team Leader with managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and timely completion of related reports to ensure financial and operational goals are met.

Demonstrate Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors by providing exceptional associate and customer service experiences; ensure all company standards are consistently demonstrated in every interaction.

Ensure store standards, seasonal transition planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations.

Develop and execute talent planning to ensure associate growth.

Ensure proper scheduling and staffing to meet business needs.

Perform all functions to open and close the store when needed and any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of 2 years’ retail management experience with a mid-to-large size retailer.

Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and seasonal periods on a regular basis.

Valid driver’s license required.

Management experience with companies such as Walmart, 5 Below, Burlington Stores, Big Lots, Dollar General, Rural King, Gap, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Bed Bath & Beyond translates well to this opportunity.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.

Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
