Responsibilities
Assist AVP of PoC Scheduling in the oversight of the program.
Effectively manage on‑site staff while working remotely. Build and maintain relationships with the various stakeholders involved in the program.
Perform site visits on a regular cadence and maximize time while on‑site.
Perform PoC scheduling functions when needed to ensure contact rates remain at goal.
Ensure QA is performed on a sample of functions; maintain statistics and reports.
Assist with development/creation/maintenance of education materials.
Provide continuous training for and communicate changes to existing employees.
Prepare payroll and complete monthly work schedules as needed to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Follow‑up on patient, physician, and facility complaints with urgency and professionalism.
Implement and promote excellent customer service.
Work closely and professionally with outside stakeholders to improve and strengthen the program.
Ensure timely scheduling of provider referrals.
Interview, hire, evaluate, and counsel staff members.
Perform evaluations in a timely manner.
Supervise and maintain the productivity of employees.
Process all paperwork in a timely manner.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure all procedures are completed in a thorough and timely manner.
Complete monthly reports as needed for leadership.
Responsible for Department Operation Report, FTEs and Operating budgets.
Ensure all personnel policies are followed.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures.
Effectively manage and direct all areas to ensure quality, productivity, and customer service.
Conduct monthly staff meetings for all responsible areas.
Assist with Meditech upgrades as deployed.
Work closely and professionally with Nursing and Ancillary Departments to improve the program results.
Recommend enough qualified/competent staff.
Actively seek ways to control costs without compromising the quality of care delivered.
Attend in‑service presentations, and complete mandatory education week including, but not limited to, infection control, patient safety, quality improvements, MSDS and OSHA Standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of occurrence reporting systems and utilize systems to report potential patient safety issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Three years’ management experience preferred.
ER Experience Preferred.
Patient Scheduling Preferred.
Travel will be required.
