Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Summary As the Business Intelligence Manager, you are a key driver of data-informed strategy across the organization. You lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-wide BI solutions that empower teams to make smarter, faster decisions. Your role blends technical leadership with business insight—you not only manage the BI platform infrastructure but also create actionable solutions that directly impact net revenue and organizational performance. Your contributions will help translate complex data into meaningful insights, enabling the organization to optimize operations, identify opportunities, and stay ahead in a dynamic business landscape.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Recruit, onboard, coach, evaluate, and manage Business Intelligence staff to support high performance, technical excellence, and alignment with organizational goals
Drive the execution of strategic data initiatives by aligning BI capabilities with business priorities, setting clear milestones, and ensuring timely delivery in collaboration with stakeholders and external consultants
Establish and uphold performance standards for BI systems and processes, ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency in reporting and data governance practices
Oversee technical development and maintenance of BI tools and data warehouse systems, including:
Modifying and troubleshooting ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Updating OLAP cube solutions with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
Designing and overseeing report development using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Lead the evaluation and implementation of new BI tools for integration into the enterprise BI toolset
Develop and enforce audit and quality assurance processes to ensure data integrity across all BI tools from source systems
Partner with internal departments to understand business requirements, translate them into functional/technical specifications, and ensure the delivery of actionable reporting solutions
Maintain system documentation, support ad-hoc data requests, and ensure knowledge transfer through training and standardized procedures
Oversee payroll and related administrative duties to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Information Systems; includes progressive responsibility in BI platforms, data architecture, and leadership of technical teams
Proven track record of effective decision-making and multi-project coordination under tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate across departments and present technical concepts clearly
Ability to adapt leadership and technical guidance to evolving business needs
Strong analytical mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
Skilled in managing competing priorities while upholding high standards of accuracy and accountability
Proven track record of effective decision-making under pressure and in dynamic environments
Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and high-performing workplace culture
Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Advance proficiency with T-SQL, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, MS SQL Server, MS Visual Studio
Familiarity with systems such as Konami Synkros, LMS, InfoGenesis, MGT, Tableau, or Uncia preferred
Requirements
At least 21 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent required
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
Verify right to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
Occasionally push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 25lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
Occasionally squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
Regularly sit and work at a desk or computer
Occasionally standing and walking
