Job Description
Responsible for end-to-end design and development of wire harness schematics for automotive applications.
Designing harness architecture and wire routing based on product plan requirements.
Determining appropriate wire and fuse sizing to meet system specifications.
Implementing and optimizing CAN network layouts within the vehicle architecture.
Assessing product plans and translating them into harness complexity and schematic designs.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support harness design development, validation, and release.
Reviewing and interpreting wiring harness drawings and ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.
Qualifications
Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, and DFSS development tools and processes
Working knowledge of CAD systems such as NX and Catia
Fluency in both Spanish and English
Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments
Familiarity with automotive wiring harness drawings and specifications
Experience with web publishing and data management in SharePoint environments
