Summary of Job Duties
Answer and direct calls serving UAMS campus medical, educational, and research facilities in a call center environment.
Provide after‑hours answering service for all UAMS outpatient clinics.
Assist with online physician call schedule changes as needed.
Activate emergency codes within the hospital and campus when necessary.
Develop skills and knowledge of UAMS services and provide community access and directions to all areas of UAMS.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent plus at least two (2) years of customer service and administrative experience.
Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer, keyboard, telephone etiquette, and office machine proficiency.
Ability to follow oral instructions and read/write.
Preferred Qualifications
Call center experience.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
Salary Information $31,200.00 Annual ($15.00 Hourly)
