SUPERVISOR, SHIFT (FULL TIME)
Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring a Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations during assigned shifts.
Location & Schedule
Address: 200 S Central Campus Drive, RM 30, Salt Lake City, UT 84112
Schedule: Full‑time, hours determined by business needs (details discussed during interview)
Pay Range: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
Qualifications
1–3 years of supervisory experience
Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills
Ability to develop training plans and create work schedules
Understanding of foodservice operations and quality and safety standards
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide training and create work schedules for team members.
Evaluate employee performance, reward high performers and discipline those who fail to meet standards.
Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
Act as contact person for employee complaints and time‑off requests.
Mentor and develop employees, encouraging goal setting and advancement within the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
