Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by defining manufacturing processes and ensuring manufacturability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to processes, equipment, and materials.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications.
- Identify and implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with design engineering to ensure product designs are optimized for manufacturing.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on process improvement and optimization.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong CAD skills for tooling, fixture, and process layout design.
- Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions for production issues.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Experience implementing and optimizing automated manufacturing systems or robotics
- Proficiency with manufacturing simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes in a manufacturing environment
