Manage daily operations of the accounting department including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL) and cash management
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations ensuring compliance with IFRS and other financial regulations
Develop, implement, and improve internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures
Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Lead and mentor the accounting team, delegating tasks and supporting professional development
Utilize ERP systems and accounting software to enhance automation and data accuracy
Monitor financial performance, identify risks, and provide strategic insights to senior management
Tax
Be responsible for preparation for tax returns upon local tax laws and guidelines Prepare group tax report and forecast Handle tax audits and inspections Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field CPA certification preferred 10+ years working experience in accounting and in MNC retail with leadership experienced Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS), tax regulations, and financial legislation Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills Native Korean and proficient English communication ability
