$53,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical power, lighting, control, and other systems.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctions in electrical systems and equipment, including PLCs and motor controls.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on industrial electrical equipment to ensure operational reliability.
Interpret and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Adhere strictly to all electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies (e.g., Lockout/Tagout).
Calibrate and test electrical components and systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and time spent.
Recommended Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent provincial/state license.
Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems (e.g., 480V, 240V).
Proficiency with PLCs (troubleshooting, minor programming modifications), VFDs, and motor control circuits.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Solid understanding and practical application of electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, Lockout/Tagout).
Bonus Qualifications
Advanced PLC programming and diagnostic skills
Experience with robotic systems installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and servo systems
Certified in NFPA 70E (Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace)
Instrumentation and controls experience
