Field Service Technician

Sany Capital USA, Inc In the Tulsa, OK area, the Field Service Technician will perform complex diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of construction equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. This position requires strong technical expertise, the ability to work independently, and leadership skills to mentor junior technicians. The role involves both in‑store service and travel to customer sites for on‑site maintenance and repairs. The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to work with a leading dealer and develop advanced technical skills while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Sany and other makes of industrial and construction equipment. Perform advanced preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety. Use diagnostic tools, software, and technical manuals to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently. Lead or assist in overhauls and major component replacements (e.g., engines, transmissions, final drives). Mentor entry‑level and intermediate technicians in the shop or field. Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair needs, costs, and timelines. Complete accurate and detailed service reports, timecards, and warranty documentation. Identify and recommend additional services or parts that benefit the customer’s equipment and operations. Provide on‑site customer support to foster strong relationships and repeat business. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies. Participate in manufacturer training programs to maintain certifications and stay current with service procedures. Process paperwork after completion of each job. Professional Qualifications
5+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing construction or heavy equipment. Proficiency in hydraulic systems, diesel engines, electrical diagnostics, and powertrains. Experience using OEM diagnostic software such as Cummins Insite, Yanmar, SmartAssist, Caterpillar ET, John Deere Service Advisor, Komatsu Komtrax, or SANY software. Valid driver’s license; CDL or ability to obtain one is a plus. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying conditions (shop and field). Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Welding and fabrication experience. Ability to train and lead less experienced technicians. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or trade certification preferred. Compensation
