Position Summary
The Construction Superintendent will lead local church and ministry construction projects throughout the Tulsa area, overseeing daily field operations from mobilization through closeout. This role is ideal for a superintendent who values community‑based work, strong relationships, and purpose‑driven projects while maintaining professional standards, quality craftsmanship, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all on‑site construction activities for church and ministry projects
Supervise company crews and subcontractors
Establish a respectful, organized, and productive jobsite
Plan daily work activities, manpower, and sequencing
Maintain a clean, professional jobsite appropriate for active ministry campuses
Manage project progress to meet agreed schedules
Prepare and maintain weekly 2‑Week Look‑Ahead Schedules
Conduct weekly field meetings with subcontractors
Coordinate daily with the Project Manager on progress, needs, and challenges
Communicate clearly with pastors, ministry staff, and owner representatives
Maintain working knowledge of plans, specifications, and submittals
Ensure work is built per contract documents and industry standards
Inspect subcontractor and self‑performed work for quality
Coordinate inspections and testing with the QC team
Prepare and complete punch lists through project closeout
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite
Enforce company and OSHA safety standards
Conduct weekly safety meetings
Address unsafe conditions immediately and proactively
Complete accurate daily reports
Track labor, materials, and production
Document issues, RFIs, and changes clearly and timely
Coordinate with local inspectors, utilities, and authorities having jurisdiction
What We’re Looking For
Experience as a Construction Superintendent or Field Leader
Commercial construction experience (church, school, or institutional preferred)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work respectfully in active church environments
Organized, proactive, and detail‑oriented
Desire to take ownership of projects and relationships
