About The Role Kitsap Credit Union is actively hiring for Member Associate I, II and III (teller/personal banker) positions across the Kitsap area, including our East Bremerton Branch. These positions are responsible for creating an exceptional member experience while processing transactions and offering and demonstrating all‑digital, remote and self‑service options.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist members with their financial needs and transactions. Identify, develop, and refer business relationships to build market position
Educate and introduce current and new members to new products and services and assist in self‑service options
Foster and maintain constructive member relationships
Review and maintain knowledge of products
Understand and recommend products and services based on the member's needs
Participate in sales and community events to contribute to branch and credit union goals
Use effective sales techniques that result in a positive member experience and meet or exceed sales goals
Maintain knowledge and adhere to operational, regulatory, security, and compliance standards
Accept and process all financial transactions accurately
Maintain responsibility and follow proper balancing procedures
Promote and effectively demonstrate digital, remote and self‑serve options, with continual education as new products and digital services are introduced
Proactively generate new memberships through branch sales activities
Member Associate I - Junior Teller Salary: $20.66 – $22 per hour, depending on experience.
High school diploma or GED required
6 months of cash handling, customer service and/or retail sales experience
Member Associate II - Teller Salary: $21 – $24 per hour, depending on experience.
High school diploma or GED required
6 months of financial institution experience
6 months of cash handling, customer service and/or retail sales experience
Member Associate III - Senior Teller & Lending Salary: $24 – $28 per hour, depending on experience.
High school diploma or GED required
1 year of financial institution experience with new accounts and consumer lending experience (HE/HELOC experience preferred but not required)
1 year of cash handling, customer service and/or retail sales experience
Identify and contribute new ideas and methods to improve effi
