Junior Estimator – Construction Roofing

Salary: Up to $90,000 per year
We are working with a growing construction roofing contractor in NYC that specializes in new construction roofing projects, with additional exposure to restoration work. They are looking to hire a Junior Estimator to support their expanding preconstruction and estimating team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing cost estimates for new construction roofing projects
Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents
Perform quantity take-offs and material pricing
Support senior estimators with bid preparation and proposals
Liaise with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors
Help track project costs and maintain estimating databases
Requirements:
1–3 years of experience in construction estimating (roofing preferred)
Exposure to
new construction projects
(commercial or residential)
Restoration experience is a plus , but not required
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Proficiency with Excel; estimating software experience is a plus
