Construction Project Manager – Commercial Public Sector Projects Phoenix, AZ
We’re hiring a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead complex, high-visibility projects across the Phoenix metro. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, understands public-sector accountability, and enjoys bringing meaningful community projects to life—healthcare facilities, schools, libraries, fire and police stations, and civic buildings.

What You’ll Be Doing
Manage multiple ground-up and renovation projects from award through completion
Drive schedule, budget, and quality while navigating public agency requirements
Lead subcontractor buyout, contract administration, change management, and cost reporting
Coordinate with owners, design teams, and jurisdictional authorities
Oversee project teams in the field and support superintendents with proactive planning
Ensure compliance with safety standards, prevailing wage, and public procurement rules
Deliver clean closeouts with accurate documentation and strong owner relationships
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a commercial general contractor
Direct experience on public works, healthcare, or institutional projects strongly preferred
