Base pay range $28.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Diesel Technician/Marine Engines Opportunity Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Diesel Marine Engine Technician, who is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and diagnosing both routine maintenance and emergency services on marine engines (yachts, personal and/or commercial vessels) while making repair recommendations to customers.

Job Duties

Perform quality repairs and maintenance on inboard Marine Diesel Engines as specified in manufacturer‑designed procedures.

Accurately complete all required paperwork (e.g., repair information on work orders, information for state and emission inspections) in a timely manner.

Diagnose failure of vessels by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts.

Dedication and adherence to all Company and industry safety standards.

Inspect vital parts to ensure they are in proper operating conditions.

Work Experience & Qualifications

2+ Years of diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop environment.

Strong working knowledge of multiple systems (e.g., transmissions, engines, hydraulics, etc.), diagnostics, and troubleshooting diesel engines.

Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Proficient use of Caterpillar ET and SIS.
