Position Overview
We’re looking for a
CNC Machinist
who can take ownership of projects from setup to inspection. You’ll work directly with the founder and small team to produce high-quality prototype and low-volume production parts. This is a hands‑on role with real impact – your input will shape our workflows, quality standards, and company culture as we scale.
Responsibilities
Set up, program (at the machine or CAM), and operate CNC mills and lathes.
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T drawings.
Inspect and verify dimensions using precision measuring tools.
Optimize toolpaths, feeds/speeds, and setups for efficiency and finish.
Collaborate on process improvements, fixturing, and workflow standardization.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑first work environment.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist (setup, operation, and light programming).
Strong understanding of G‑code, tool selection, and work offsets.
Experience with
Mastercam, or similar CAM software
preferred.
Comfortable with both prototyping and short‑run production.
Passion for precision, problem‑solving, and continuous learning.
