CNC Machinist – 3 & 4 Axis (Setup / Operator / Programmer)

$28–$40/hr DOE
(Setup-only and setup + programming both considered)
About the Role:
We’re hiring a
3 & 4-Axis CNC Machinist
to support precision machining in a modern production / job-shop environment. This role is flexible based on experience — we’re open to
setup & operators
as well as
machinists who also program .
If you enjoy being hands-on, working with quality machines, and want long-term stability with room to grow, this is worth a look.
What You’ll Be Doing (based on experience):
Set up and operate 3- and 4-axis CNC mills and/or lathes
Load tools, set offsets, and prove out jobs
Run tight-tolerance production and short-run work
Edit programs at the machine as needed
Perform basic inspections using calipers, mics, and gauges
Create or modify CNC programs using CAM or at the machine
Machines & Controls (varies by shop):
Programming Experience (not required for all):
Mastercam
Fusion 360
NX
GibbsCAM
Programming experience is a plus, not a requirement
What We’re Looking For:
Experience setting up and running CNC mills and/or lathes (3 & 4 axis)
Ability to hold tight tolerances (.001” or better)
Comfortable reading blueprints and GD&T basics
Strong understanding of tooling and workholding
Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Nice to Have (but not required):
CNC programming experience
4th-axis experience
Aerospace, medical, or tight-tolerance job shop background
