Machinist: CNC Lathe - 2nd Shift Preferred
Bronson & Bratton, Inc., a family‑owned manufacturing company that has been operating since 1948, is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist for its 2nd‑shift production line in Burr Ridge, IL. The role offers shift differential pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathes.
Read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
Program or edit CNC machines as needed (Smart Cam, Gibbs Cam, etc.).
Select appropriate tools, inserts, and fixtures.
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work area.
Follow all safety and quality protocols.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 5 years of machining experience or equivalent training.
Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and precision tools.
CNC programming experience preferred.
Strong math and communication skills.
Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work independently and in a team.
