Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic
Independently diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul aircraft engines and assemblies, including complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Demonstrate full proficiency in interpreting maintenance manuals, executing standard procedures, and ensuring airworthiness in accordance with FAA regulations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in aircraft jacking and towing operations.
Remove and install access panels.
Perform lubrication tasks.
Assist in the installation of avionics components.
Assist in engine inspections and routine maintenance.
Assist in structural repairs and modifications.
Document maintenance actions according to regulatory and organizational standards.
Understand and use maintenance manuals and company paperwork such as removals and squawk sign-offs.
Use computer systems such as Corridor, ATP, and Textron One View.
Use standard and specialized tools for aircraft maintenance.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance environment.
Engage in continuous learning about new aircraft technologies and maintenance techniques.
