We are seeking an experienced General Accountant (Contractor) to support our month‑end and year‑end close processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. This role will involve preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, confirming intercompany balances, and conducting ad hoc financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and post journal entries (JE) in compliance with GAAP.
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Confirm and reconcile intercompany balances across multiple entities.
Support ad hoc analysis and reporting as requested by management.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure proper documentation and accuracy.
Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
Experience with NetSuite is required.
Intercompany accounting experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Remote work environment with extensive computer use.
