Job Description
Process Management:
Oversee the entire end-to-end accounts payable and T&E process, from invoice receipt to payment.
Team Leadership:
Supervise, mentor and train the Accounts Payable and T&E team.
Accuracy and Timeliness:
Ensure all invoices and expense reports are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with company policies.
Compliance & Controls:
Implement and monitor internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with all relevant financial laws, regulations, and internal policies (including 1099 reporting requirements) and system testing.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within the A/P workflow, leveraging technology and best practices.
Audit Support:
Coordinate with internal auditors and provide necessary documentation during reviews and the annual audit process.
Month-End Close:
Oversee and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
7 years experience in public accounting or related field.
5 years supervisory experience.
Must have and preserve required licenses.
Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary.
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally.
Proficient use of applicable technology.
Must be able to travel based on business needs.
