Position Summary
6 AM – 6 PM, 2‑2‑3 schedule. This position is 100% on‑site in Winchester, Kentucky.
Catalent’s Winchester location is the flagship U.S. manufacturing facility for large‑scale oral dose forms, providing integrated analytical and development services with 28 years of expertise in product development, technology transfer, and commercial manufacturing.
The Role
Ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Costs are monitored and managed to meet site‑specific metrics.
Support and develop a comprehensive continuous training program for employees on the shift.
Drive productivity improvements while maintaining high quality standards.
Reduce unplanned deviations and improve first‑pass quality.
Ensure labs operate under GMP conditions and follow applicable SOPs.
Collaborate with Production Managers, Materials, Planners, Technical Writers, Process Tech Leaders, and other departments to meet timelines and achieve results.
Support customer requests and onsite observation as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
The Candidate
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of manufacturing or related experience required; OR HS Diploma/GED with 6+ years of manufacturing experience.
2+ years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including participation in Catalent‑sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.
Will be required to stand for an extended period of time; must be able to read written documents and frequently use a computer monitor.
