Sales Engineer, DACH
Recorded Future is the world’s most advanced, and largest, intelligence company, serving over 1,900 clients worldwide. As a Sales Engineer you will work closely with our DACH region account teams to support enterprise customers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland by addressing their most critical cybersecurity challenges. This position demands a strong blend of cybersecurity expertise, technical engineering skills, analytical thinking, and strategic business insight.
What You’ll Do
Engage with prospective and existing customers, understand their requirements, address technical inquiries, and showcase Recorded Future capabilities.
Plan and manage proof of value engagements.
Develop use cases and deliver product demonstration and presentations.
Resolve critical analytical, technical, and operational challenges.
Promote user adoption across various use cases.
Travel throughout the region when required, roughly 40% of the time.
What You’ll Bring
Preferred experience in a Pre‑Sales Engineering role, or a Consulting position focused on Cybersecurity solutions or services.
A Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas: SIEM, DFIR, Vulnerability Assessments, Threat Intelligence, Security Operations, Threat Hunting & Research.
Professional experience in analytical roles across domains such as intelligence, military, cybersecurity, or business operations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, from engineers to executive leadership.
Working knowledge or familiarity with Threat Intelligence is a plus.
Proven ability to establish trust and rapport with clients, including C‑level executives and technical decision‑makers.
Experience delivering customized product demonstrations and managing proof‑of‑concept engagements.
Ability to identify client challenges and craft innovative solutions that align with their strategic objectives.
Adaptability to thrive in fast‑paced environments with high expectations.
Proficiency in business‑level English and German is required.
