We Search People are looking for a tenured, experienced, and highly qualified Lead Project Manager to oversee a large-scale renovation project for a national, industry-leading multifamily builder. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record of managing complex renovation initiatives from planning through delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every stage.
Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all phases of multifamily renovation projects in Newport News, VA.
Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards, building codes, and safety requirements.
Coordinate closely with subcontractors, suppliers, onsite teams, and senior leadership.
Drive accountability, maintain project timelines, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
Lead onsite meetings, provide progress reporting, and mitigate risks proactively.
Uphold high standards of workmanship, communication, and professionalism.
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a strong emphasis on multifamily renovations.
Proven leadership experience overseeing multiple projects or large‑scale renovation programs.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Deep understanding of multifamily construction methods, renovation sequencing, and value‑add strategies.
Strong financial acumen with demonstrated success in budget management and cost control.
Exceptional communication, problem‑solving, and team‑leadership skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with national‑level operational expectations.
