Process Technician (Injection Molding, Manufacturing)

Pay and Compensation
Base pay range: $29.00/yr - $34.00/yr
*$1,000 sign‑on bonus payable after successful completion of 90 days of continuous employment (paid on the first payroll following the 90‑day milestone).

Job Summary The Process Technician is responsible for the efficient operation of injection molding processes by setting up, programming, and troubleshooting large tonnage injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
Job Duties
Performs injection mold changes per production schedule.
Programs robotic material handlers and injection mold machines.
Assists Maintenance Technicians in the repair of machines, molds, and other auxiliary machines.
Monitors machines, troubleshoots, and provides assistance with all process‑related issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and scrap and increase productivity.
Starts up and adjusts machines for maximum output and efficiency.
Sets up auxiliary equipment.
Performs insert and version changes to molds, including date code accuracy.
Assists in the inspection of in‑process and finished products.
Maintains a clean and safe work area.
Education and Experience
Minimum 3 years related process technician experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous injection molding full processing experience
required .
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office.
Ability and willingness to work a flexible work schedule (including 12‑hour rotating day/night shifts) and overtime hours.
This position will be on the second shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) or third shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment where there is exposure to moderate to loud noise, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and working in high places.
Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, use hands to finger, handle, and/or feel objects, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, talk, see, and hear.
Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or otherwise move up to 50 lbs.
