My top bank client is looking for a contract Senior Recruiter.
About the Team You will join the fastest-moving and highest-volume recruiting group within a major Fortune 100 financial services company. As part of the organization’s Discover Integration, this team is hiring for some of the most visible and business-critical roles across high-tech, process excellence, and program leadership.
The environment is fast-paced, highly strategic, and collaborative. Recruiters who have backgrounds similar to former strategy consultants (Deloitte, Accenture, Bain, etc.) tend to excel due to the analytical, stakeholder-facing nature of the work.
About the Role The Senior Recruiter will manage full lifecycle recruiting for technical, analytical, and program-driven roles. You will partner closely with hiring managers and functional leaders to understand talent needs, build sourcing strategies, and guide candidates through an exceptionally high-touch process.
This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, sourcing creativity, and stakeholder management – ideal for recruiters comfortable navigating high-volume, high-impact hiring.
Key Responsibilities Talent Partnering & Stakeholder Management
Partner with hiring managers, business leaders, and cross-functional groups to understand unique talent needs and role requirements.
Consult on hiring strategy, market insights, competitive talent intelligence, and candidate experience best practices.
Full Lifecycle Recruiting
Lead the end-to-end recruiting process: crafting job descriptions, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing offers.
Build and maintain diverse, high-quality pipelines for roles including High Tech talent, Process Analysts, and Program Managers.
Strategic Sourcing
Develop and execute tailored sourcing plans using search engines, career platforms, recruiting events, referrals, and innovative outreach strategies.
Look beyond direct applicants to find niche and hard-to-reach talent.
Candidate Experience & Pipeline Management
Own candidate management from identification through offer acceptance, maintaining strong communication and timely updates.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work across a team of high-performing recruiters, promoting a culture of ownership, inclusion, and accountability.
Partner with HR, business leaders, and integration teams to support hiring alignment throughout the Discover Integration.
Use recruiting analytics and reporting tools to track pipeline health, hiring progress, and market insights.
Provide proactive updates to HR partners and leadership teams.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 2 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years experience as a full-cycle recruiter
Proficiency with recruiting systems (ATS, CRM, sourcing tools)
Experience consulting with multiple hiring managers simultaneously
Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
Ability to thrive and drive results in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment
