Job Title: HR Manager
The HR Manager will serve as a trusted partner to the business, overseeing employee relations, HR administration, and strategic people initiatives. With one direct report (HR Assistant), this role requires a balance of hands‑on execution and strategic influence to support a collaborative and values‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary contact for employee relations, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant practices.
Lead and mentor the HR Assistant to deliver seamless HR administration across the employee lifecycle (contracts, onboarding, payroll coordination, compliance, etc.).
Partner cross‑functionally with leadership and managers to design and implement people strategies that drive engagement, retention, and performance.
Support talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, succession development, and training programs.
Advise managers on HR best practices and guide them in handling complex performance and employee relations issues.
Ensure policies, procedures, and practices are aligned with company values and regional employment legislation.
Deliver HR reporting, metrics, and insights to support data‑driven decision‑making.
Contribute to culture‑building initiatives, embedding the brand's philosophy of “human sustainability” in all people practices.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven HR generalist/manager experience within retail, fashion, or luxury sectors preferred.
Strong expertise in employee relations, with a pragmatic and solutions‑focused approach.
Excellent knowledge of HR administration, compliance, and HRIS systems.
Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships across functions and influence at all levels.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and discretion.
Salary $130,000-$140,000 + 10% Bonus
