Talent Acquisition Specialist – Role Overview The Talent Acquisition Specialist will recruit top talent across Canada and the United States, managing full‑cycle recruiting for all open roles at GoEngineer. The role serves as a trusted advisor to Hiring Managers and Senior Leadership.
Key Contributions
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies.
Create and post job descriptions and advertisements.
Source and attract candidates through job boards, social media, and direct outreach.
Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure accurate, timely updates.
Screen and interview candidates, assessing qualifications and alignment with job requirements.
Coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring teams.
Provide guidance to managers on recruitment best practices.
Monitor and recommend improvements to recruiting policies, offers, and candidate experience.
Support pre‑screening and background check processes.
Stay current on industry trends and maintain professional networks.
Participate in special projects and additional HR activities as needed to support the team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in a Talent Acquisition capacity.
Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with ATS platforms.
Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive pay: $65,000–$75,000 (based on experience).
