Digital Finance and Accounting Lead – Acclinate As Digital Finance and Accounting Lead, you will spearhead a technological shift to transform Acclinate's finance and accounting from a traditional back‑office operation into a strategic business partner. This transformation will leverage tools such as AI and data analytics to automate crucial tasks, including reporting, reconciliation, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities I. Financial Operations and Reporting

Lead and execute full‑cycle accounting and manage day‑to‑day operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and journal entries.

Lead the month‑end and quarter‑end close processes.

Perform and review balance sheet account reconciliations.

Prepare and review internal financial reports, including consolidated statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

Support cash management.

II. Compliance and Control

Develop, maintain, and enforce robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with the external CPA for the review of monthly and annual financials and support financial audits and tax preparation as needed.

III. Financial Planning and Analysis

Oversee and assist with organizational budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Provide high‑value, ad‑hoc financial analyses (project‑level profitability, cost center analysis) to support strategic decisions and business growth.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, business, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA a plus.

2‑5 years of progressive accounting/financial experience.

Passion and propensity for leveraging AI‑enabled accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online) and large language models (e.g., Gemini) for efficiency, automation, and near real‑time financial data synthesis.

Knowledge of GAAP, account reconciliations, internal controls, and financial reporting.

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and cash management.

Ability to present financial data to non‑finance stakeholders and translate numbers into business strategy.
