Vaco has partnered with a global $2B distribution client to onboard an Analyst to take on a blended accounting/finance role. The candidate will assist with P&Ls, journal entries, consolidations, variance analysis, inventory adjustments, forecasting, analytics, and budgeting.
Candidates must be local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area
Compensation: $100K + bonus
Day-to-Day
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with FP&A and business leaders.
Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management.
Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Assist with external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and coordination with auditors.
Support cash flow analysis, working capital management, and balance sheet optimization.
Partner with operational and department leaders to understand cost drivers and improve financial performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
4-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with exposure to financial analysis and planning.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; experience with financial modeling a plus.
CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
