What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Support qualitative data collection and analysis for research projects
Assist in developing social media content and visual materials to share research findings
Help craft public-facing messages for academic and community stakeholders
Maintain research article databases for project organization
Provide organizational support for meetings and events related to research initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications)
Associate’s degree and up to 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination
Interest in climate change, aging, and public health topics
Excellent written communication skills
Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with qualitative research methods and data analysis
Familiarity with social media outreach platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
Knowledge of design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
Experience coordinating events or meetings in academic or community settings
Familiarity with New York State regional dynamics and community engagement
