We’re hiring a
Financial Advisor (Service Advisor)
on behalf of our client—a growing hybrid
retirement-focused wealth management firm
in Central Texas.
If you love building long-term relationships with retirees, want strong internal support, and prefer a small, family-style team with big growth plans, this might be your next home.
Role Snapshot
Step into warm, closed relationships
— no cold calling
Own the long-term client relationship
after the rainmaker closes the business
Collaborate with a
paraplanner, new business, and service team
so you can focus on meetings and advice
Guide pre-retirees and retirees (typically
$1M–$5M+ portfolios ) through retirement income and distribution strategies
Help refine plans using firm models and tools while keeping conversations simple and human
What You’ll Be Doing
Join post-close meetings and co-create retirement plans with the closing advisor
Lead ongoing review meetings, answer client questions, and provide clear, empathetic guidance
Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, transfers, and account maintenance
Nurture relationships so referrals and retention stay strong as the firm grows
Contribute ideas as the firm expands across Central Texas
Throw ball for the office dog, Bella!
What You Bring
Experience as a
Financial Advisor, Service Advisor, or Financial Planner
working directly with clients
Passion for working with
pre-retirees and retirees
on income and distribution planning
CFP preferred
(or a strong plan to get there)
Required licensing:
Series 65 or Series 7 + 63 , plus
life & health insurance
Comfortable with planning software and learning new tools
High emotional intelligence
and the ability to handle
direct, candid feedback
Polished, professional presence with a steady, calm communication style
