Brickpath Group has been retained to lead the search for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant is responsible for advanced accounting functions that support the financial health and integrity of the company. This position focuses on financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
Process payroll and manage payroll procedures.
Manage certificate of insurance requests.
Support month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Complete daily and monthly sales and operational reporting.
Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
Support internal and external audits.
Identify and implement process improvements within accounting operations.
Participate in collection activities.
Oversee electronic invoicing.
Qualifications
BS/BA in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
Demonstrated ability to use ERP systems as well as MS Outlook, Word, & Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Ability to use independent judgment and safeguard confidential information.
Willingness and ability to make timely decisions using sound and accurate judgment.
