Staff Accountant - Scenic Southern Utah
Location: Milford, Utah. Partial remote after initial training period.
Schedule: Full-Time, potential to work partial remote (2 days a week after training).
Reports to: Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with GAAP.
Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and internal reporting.
Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
Track capital expenditures, inventory, and fixed assets.
Collaborate with procurement and operations for accurate cost allocations.
Assist with payroll and benefits reporting.
Prepare audit schedules and support external audit requests.
Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Experience in Manufacturing, Mining or other Cost Accounting environments.
Qualifications
