About the Role We are looking for an experienced, hands‑on Human Resources Manager to serve as the senior most HR leader in the United States for our growing global medical device organization. This role is both strategic and operational, partnering closely with leaders to support business growth while overseeing all core HR functions. The HR Manager reports directly to the CFO and will be based on site in Huntersville, NC.
What You’ll Be Doing
Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to senior leaders, aligning people initiatives with business objectives.
Lead performance management processes, coaching managers on goal setting, feedback, and development.
Partner on organisational design and workforce planning to support growth and scalability.
Manage employee relations, including investigations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives, including surveys and action planning.
Oversee compensation programmes, including benchmarking, merit cycles, and equitable pay practices.
Manage benefits programmes (health, welfare, retirement, leave) and vendor relationships.
Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Ensure compliance with U.S. employment laws and support HR policies and documentation within a regulated medical device environment.
Who You Are
A seasoned HR generalist with broad experience across all facets of Human Resources.
Comfortable operating as the senior‑most HR leader in the U.S., working autonomously.
A strong communicator and coach who builds trust with leaders and employees.
Equally effective at strategy and hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a regulated industry (medical device or life sciences).
Demonstrated experience as an HR business partner supporting managers and executive leadership.
Strong knowledge of employee relations, compensation, benefits, and payroll.
Experience supporting global or multi‑location workforces preferred.
Experience supporting a production team preferred.
Must have strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
Experience with Paylocity as HRIS preferred.
Experience with Glint survey platform a plus.
