We are seeking full‑time Civil Defense Associate Attorneys. The ideal candidate will focus primarily on defending lawsuits related to auto, general liability, and premises liability matters. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who is ready to work in a team environment to handle a wide variety of civil litigation matters from the outset, through discovery, and on to mediation, arbitration, and/or trial.

Role Description This is a full‑time hybrid role located in Phoenix, AZ for an experienced Attorney. The attorney will be responsible for developing and managing civil litigation cases from the outset, through discovery, and on to mediation, arbitration, and/or trial. Day‑to‑day tasks include conducting legal research, taking depositions, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, appearing in court, negotiating settlements, and providing legal advice and representation to clients.

Qualifications

Strong legal research and writing skills

Excellent negotiation and oral advocacy skills

Knowledgeable in civil litigation procedures and practices

Ability to manage a caseload independently

Juris Doctor (JD) degree and membership in good standing with the Arizona State Bar

Strong organizational and time‑management skills

1‑10 years prior experience in civil litigation
