Position Summary: The facilities manager is responsible for overseeing the overall repairs and maintenance, facility operations and continued architectural preservation requirements of the stores in the North American market. The Manager will work closely with store management, market directors, regional operations, loss prevention and visual merchandising teams along with vendors/contractors to identify any problems. The Manager will continuously develop short and/or long-term sustainable solutions and coordinate all work which includes scheduling, coordinating, negotiating, as well as follow through of all retail facilities maintenance such as millwork, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, janitorial, MEP, fire protection systems, elevator inspections, all general repairs as well as store close outs.
Job responsibilities
Repairs and Maintenance (ordinary and extraordinary)
Build and maintain relationships with all Store Directors and Operations Managers
Assist the team in coordinating small scale layout improvements such as furniture addition and special project installations
Identify problems and work on solutions (in particular old stores), coordinating with the Store Management teams and vendors
Coordinate repairs and maintenance of stores through Service Channel (website)
Implement the use of Service Channel with all Store Directors, Ops Managers as well as vendors and perform ongoing training to teams as needed
Review and negotiate all cost proposals
Develop and maintain cost summary of all maintenance work (OPEX and CAPEX maintenance) and issue POS for services
Develop a site visit schedule to all nationwide locations to ensure store conditions are up to Bulgari regional and WW standards
Create database for floor plans, specs, materials, cleaning guidelines and preferred vendor list for each store
Review installations on‑site as required, verifying that repairs and layout improvements are being installed correctly
Address urgent facilities issues immediately (off‑time availability)
Stipulate contracts with maintenance HVAC, lighting, MW vendors Assist during handover of new stores and subsequently punch list together with project manager
Point of contact for requests of office improvement of BCA office
Organize and follow up on centrally requested roll‑outs and nationwide store improvements
Profile
5+ years of previous experience in high‑end retail projects
Knowledge of Italian is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Proactive attitude and problem solving
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
Strong cultural background, interest in luxury and fashion industry and market trends
Travel up to 20%-30%
