Remote Network Engineer - will work East Coast Time Zone This is a 3 month assignment

Start Date - First Week of January

Skills & Experience

Manage the task force of Level 13 network engineers and admins.

Drive training, mentoring, and performance reviews.

Coordinate cross-functional projects with system, cloud, and security teams.

Define enterprise network strategy (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, security).

Align network design with business continuity and scalability goals.

Oversee hybrid networking (on-prem + cloud: Azure).

Forecast network infrastructure budgets.

Negotiate contracts with Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, and ISPs.

Manage licensing and compliance for network hardware/software.

High-level design for Cisco routing/switching, wireless, and security.

Oversee Cisco Client deployments for NAC and identity-based access.

Manage Fortinet SD-WAN, firewall clusters, and security policies.

Enterprise wireless strategy using Cisco WLC, DNA Center, and RF planning.

Implement secure onboarding and guest access via Client.

Azure networking governance (VNets, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways).

Hybrid connectivity and security integration.

Define automation standards using Ansible, Python, and APIs.

Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for network provisioning.

Implement Zero Trust and segmentation strategies.
