Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Federal Immigration Litigation Paralegal to provide dedicated, high-level support to our Federal Immigration Litigation Attorneys. This role is essential for managing our federal caseload, focusing heavily on document preparation, strategic organization, and maintaining the integrity of our federal court filings.

Responsibilities

Manage federal case filing, drafting, preparing, and organizing documents for complaints, motions, briefs, and petitions in U.S. District Courts and Circuit Courts of Appeals, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional rules and deadlines.

Support litigation by assembling trial packets, creating chronologies and charts, drafting discovery and document requests, e.g., FOIA requests.

Assist attorneys with specialized litigation, including:

Administrative Procedure Act (APA) challenges for unreasonable delays or wrongful denials.

Mandamus actions compelling federal agencies to perform owed duties within reasonable timeframes.

Habeas Corpus petitions challenging unlawful detentions by federal authorities.

Circuit Petitions for Review, Denaturalization defense, and Naturalization de novo reviews.

Review, organize, and summarize voluminous evidence (criminal records, affidavits, country reports) and prepare materials for court submission.

Act as primary client contact point, gathering information, providing case updates, and maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience directly supporting federal litigation, preferably in immigration or administrative law; experience with APA, Mandamus, or Habeas Corpus highly preferred.

Meticulous attention to detail ensuring accuracy in legal documents and case information.

Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.

Highly organized, detail‑oriented, professional management of a high‑volume workload; proficiency in ECF/Pacer systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and legal case management software (Clio, MyCase, Docketwise).

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
