Overview
A national law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to provide support to approximately four attorneys in a fast-paced Labor & Employment and Litigation practice. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing competing priorities.
Responsibilities
Maintain attorney calendars, CLE records, reports, and time entries
Prepare and revise correspondence and legal documents
Coordinate with internal departments to open new client matters, process expenses and check requests, and assist with docketing
Support e-filing in state and federal courts
Manage internal filing of matter-related documents through the firm’s document-management system
Arrange travel, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation; modify reservations as needed
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant or Legal Secretary in a law firm
Labor & Employment and/or Litigation experience preferred
Strong e-filing experience across state and federal courts
Experience with document-management systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and basic Excel; TOA/TOC experience preferred
