Leasing Coordinator (Project Management)
SCOPE: The Leasing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all vacant units are filled with eligible applicants from the waiting list in order of preference, date, and time. Vacant units must comply with LIHTC, HOME, NSP, LIPH, PBRA Multifamily housing program rules and regulations. This position reports directly to the Manager of Compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and monitor changes in wait lists daily.
Prepare eligible applicants for upcoming vacant units at various properties.
Determine if an eligible applicant meets the requirements of LIHTC, HOME, NSP, LIPH, and PBRA Multi‑Family housing programs.
Schedule unit viewings with property managers according to the wait list and designated days of the week.
Schedule leasing for properties during specified hours and days, communicating schedules via email to property managers.
Complete move‑ins, interim, and re‑certifications for all programs based on program rules and regulations governing HUD, OHFA, OCCH, HOME, and IRS 4350.3.
Purge the wait list for each program as required.
Generate and select from the wait list based on the Tenant Selection Plan and ACOP.
Provide continuous recommendations regarding record retention policy.
Maintain status reports for assigned properties.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Receive certification in Multi‑Family Housing and attend required OHFA compliance training within one year of hire, on the anniversary date of hire.
