We are seeking a

Production Supervisor

for the Edgewood, NY facility. Reporting to the Manager of Production Operations, this role oversees insertion operations and ensures all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with Client clients are met in the most cost‑efficient manner. This position is responsible for managing a team of up to

40 full‑time associates and temporary staff , prioritizing all client mailings on the production floor, and ensuring SEC and contractual requirements are met. The Production Supervisor monitors production lines to maximize throughput, minimize labor costs, and coordinate resources across departments while maintaining high‑quality and safety standards. This is a

100% onsite

role.

Key Responsibilities

Provide production sign‑off on all jobs, including material, media, and indicia verification; ensure all machines have work and the correct jobs are running to minimize downtime; maintain detailed knowledge of production equipment, software, and applications; ensure Must‑Mail and hot jobs are prioritized and completed in proper order; communicate job status across departments to meet deadlines.

Oversee all labor on the production floor; utilize outside temp agencies to adjust labor based on volume; plan and monitor schedules to match workflow demands, including peak periods; ensure material handlers keep machines supplied with required materials; provide warehouse teams with proper lead‑time for materials.

Ensure operators receive proper technical and procedural training; prepare productivity and quality reports; provide ongoing performance feedback to staff; motivate the team to continually improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety; work with management to establish and communicate departmental and individual goals; assume Production Manager responsibilities in their absence.

Meet and exceed cost per unit, quality, safety, and associate satisfaction targets; ensure accurate auditing of envelopes and materials for inventory control; maintain compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred OR equivalent production experience

Minimum 2 Years Of Supervisory Or Leadership Experience

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Ability to understand budgets and analyze operational data

Strong communication skills across all organizational levels

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

English proficiency required; Spanish a plus
