Your Role The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Responsibilities include scheduling inbound and outbound freight, processing paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments, double‑checking for accuracy, and assisting in inventory management.
Responsibilities
Coordinates and processes daily shipment and ensures all shipments have proper documentation.
Review all incoming PO’s against the carrier’s paperwork, i.e., BOL, COA, wash ticket, etc.
Directs delivery drivers to the loading/offloading areas.
Double checks all inbound and outbound paperwork for accuracy.
Manage receiving of small deliveries from FedEx and UPS. Route packages through the front office (office supplies, Grainger, parts, etc.).
Prompt and accurate receiving and entry of product into the ERP system.
Manage the receiving calendar for the branch and coordinate delivery times as needed with Purchasing, Operations, and Transportation.
Identify, track, and record any inventory discrepancies/variances.

Self‑manages accurate record keeping and tracking & self‑regulates flow of all inbound/outbound materials and all documents related to deliveries and shipments.
Participate in monthly and quarterly inventory.

Education & Experience
Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED with 1+ years previous shipping/receiving experience is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working Knowledge of an ERP system such as AS400 or SAP.
Employment is contingent upon completion of background investigation, E‑Verify check, and pre‑employment drug screening.
