The line service manager is responsible for creating and leading an exceptional line service team. This position is responsible for insuring efficient service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company procedures. Line service manager will work closely with customer service manager and FBO manager.
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage line service department prioritizing, assigning, and monitoring supervisors work, conducting performance evaluations with supervisors, providing training goals with Training/Safety Tech.
Review line service team payroll, manage overtime, and submit to payroll for processing
Responsible for hiring process to create a well-rounded team with customer and safety focus
Oversee facility startup to include facility security, vehicle maintenance checks, equipment service and status
Fuel management - including monitor of fuel inventory, reconciliation of load receipts, ordering fuel as needed
Communication with supervisors in daily pass down meeting
Aircraft storage, movement, hangar arrangement, anticipate needs for arrivals and departures.
Damage prevention and implementation of safety procedures
Support of trainers, safety techs, and line service team
Team training - must meet DOT regulations

Communicate with customers and employees in person, on phone, and through radio communications
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by our insurance company (Requires clean driving record)

Bi-linqual preferred
Reporting Relationship This position reports to the General Manager.
Work Environment This position works outside in all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft. This position may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, to include but not limited to:
Must be able to lift 75 pounds
Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery
Outside work in all types of weather conditions
Position requires bending, lifting, walking, stooping, squatting, gripping and climbing a ladder
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is an exempt position.
This position may requires working evenings and weekends, and on scheduled company holidays.
Travel No travel is expected for this position.
Education, Experience and Eligibility Qualifications
Minimum five (5) years line service experience including fuel management and supervisory duties
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to pass a background check
