Position Summary The DCFC Logistics Coordinator has general responsibility for coordinating and overseeing all operational activities assigned to them daily. Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, they are responsible for oversight of associates dedicated to the warehousing, receiving, and shipping of product in their area in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. Associates are expected to meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality and to comply with all corporate and site-specific policies.
Training Responsibilities
Mentor and train new and existing associates in specific distribution activities to help achieve established customer demands
Train new and existing associates on current Standard Operating Procedures, which includes but is not limited to shipping, receiving, picking, and/or quality control
Assist in forklift operation and certification for new and existing associates
Shipping/Receiving Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of productivity. Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly counted.
Efficiently and accurately load orders according to the appropriate doors and trailers.
All shipping/receiving/picking functions will be processed as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
Research discrepancies that may occur in the shipping and receiving process.
Customer Service
Always conduct yourself in a professional manner in appearance and communications.
Communicate with customers telephonically, electronically, or in person.
Prepare required activity reports accurately and efficiently for site management.
Quality Control Responsibilities
Use appropriate documentation to ensure all product and/or orders are received or shipped correctly and accurately picked.
Verify products and/or orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies. Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products.
All quality control functions processed as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
Report inconsistencies and/or problems to the Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager.
Participate in quality meetings.
Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance
Knowledgeable and comply with relevant ISO standards that impact this position, department, and company.
Execute all safety protocols.
Promote safety in all job tasks.
Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and assist in security.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS Standards.
Participate in safety meetings.
Labor Management
Direct the operations of the warehouse work team to achieve prescribed objectives.
Assist associates and temporary labor in completing productivity sheets and accurately capturing production and payroll hours.
Assist the Supervisor in maintaining a productive workforce.
Participate in establishing work schedules.
Ensure schedules are correctly implemented and jobs assigned effectively and completed properly.
Assist the Operations Supervisor in ensuring all associates handle products according to prescribed quality procedures and guidelines.
Responsibility and Authority
Participate in department meetings.
Initiate action to prevent non-conformities related to product, process, and quality system; identify and record problems; recommend solutions through designated channels.
Immediately bring all non-conformities to the attention of the Quality Department.
Equipment Operation
Operate equipment including sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, sweeper scrubber, scissor lift, cherry picker, Aisle Master, or pallet jack.
Maintain upkeep of equipment and report problems.
Perform daily inspection and minor maintenance of forklift or other equipment.
Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods.
Maintain active forklift certification.
Maintenance
Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
Other Duties
Perform clerical and administrative tasks as guided by site management (answer phones, schedule appointments, greet visitors, file and record keeping).
Work evenings and weekends as needed.
Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Minimum Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
Ability to operate MHE.
Work in unregulated warehouse temperatures ranging from mild to moderate throughout the year.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations
Successful completion of a forklift training program.
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills.
RF Scanners.
WMS functions.
Language Skills
English (reading, writing, verbal).
Mathematical Skills
Basic to intermediate level for verifying product quantities, counting inventory, and performing other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
Other
Strong attention to detail and ability to accomplish tasks timely.
Perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
Communicate effectively and respectfully with all levels of the organization.
Adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
2-4 years of forklift experience.
Current or prior MHE certification.
