Position: Quality Inspector II We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector II who will be responsible for inspecting materials and end‑item parts through all stages from receipt to shipping. This includes calibration of tools, equipment, and maintaining records. The role ensures compliance with AIAP specifications and paperwork, and operates in a warehouse environment at an aircraft hardware distribution facility. Routine warehouse work and desk computer activity are required.

Responsibilities

Work with suppliers on rejected material and return the product if needed.

Perform inspections on products received from vendors, specifically aerospace fasteners.

Use precision instruments such as micrometer screw gauges to measure products.

Conduct random inspections to assess product quality.

Accept or reject finished products and discuss results with the production team.

Remove products that do not meet standards and recommend improvement strategies.

Maintain high standards of quality and contribute to team results.

Recommend adjustments and changes to production processes.

Ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Verify part numbers are correct before adding them to the system.

Qualifications & Skills

College degree or equivalent experience (required).

3–7 years of experience in the aerospace industry.

Extensive knowledge of calibration/inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, ring gages, plug gages, radius gages).

Ability to read blueprints and diagrams; multitask; basic computer skills.

Computer savvy and ability to learn proprietary software.

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Solid working knowledge of aircraft fasteners.

Quality orientation and high attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience working with high‑performance teams.

Special Requirements

U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.

ITAR requirement.

120.15 – Some positions require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
