Role Overview
This role is responsible for ensuring precision, compliance, and quality standards in manufacturing processes, tooling, and finished products.
Responsibilities
Conduct inspections on steel tools, components, and engineering materials to ensure adherence to specifications.
Perform dimensional checks using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement tools.
Identify and document quality defects, recommending corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines.
Maintain accurate inspection records and reports for audits and quality control tracking.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced product quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
Experience in quality inspection within steel, tooling, or engineering industries (preferred).
Strong knowledge of measurement tools, blueprints and etc
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Familiarity with ISO standards and industry regulations (preferred).
Physical Requirements
Stand for extended periods of time
Lift heavy objects on a regular basis
Repetitive tasks with few breaks
Ability to lift 50lbs
